Transcript	August 27, 1974 Dr. Donald Gallup Beinecke Rare Book and manuscript Library Yale University New Haven, Connecticut 06520 Dear Dr. Gallup: I have been pursuing further my researches on Pamela Colman Smith, and I would like to ask a favor of you. In the drawer in your storage area, you may recall, I went through all of your holdings of Miss Smith's work (ten or fifteen examples, as I remeMber). Would it be possible for you to compile a list of examples of her work which your library owns (not including illustrated books). I realize that the identification of these works is sometimes problematical, and I wonder if you could make visual record copies of examples which you own on the copy machine which you have in your building. I trust this would not harm the pictures. This will make it possible for me to know which examples you have and to have a better idea of what they look like for purposes of identification. Also could you tell me approximately what it would cost to have ill of your Pamela Colman Smith examples photographed in black and white by the Yale photographer. I remember having one example photographed at an earlier date and the results were quite successful. I hope this will not he too much trouble. I will appreciate your cooperation. With best regards.
