June 13, 1973 Mr. John Rhoades 55 Broad Street New York, New York 10004 Dear Mr. Rhoades: It was good to talk with you on the telephone on Monday. I did have a few other questions to ask about Katharine Rhoades. Do you have any photographs of her paintings? These might be useful for me to look at. Also, are there any letters from Stieglitz or his friends in your collection or in the hands of your family? Do you have a photograph of Miss Rhoades which you could lend me or have copied for me. I have no idea of what she looks like. Do you happen to have a list of the Stieglitz photographs which were given to Williams College? If so, may I have a copy of it. Do you know anything about Miss Rhoades' friendship with Marion H. Beckett, or do you have any recollection of her yourself. Were there any articles written about Katharine Rhoades or her work? These are the questions that have come to mind immediately. Perhaps I will have others, but this will give me something to start on. I do appreciate your very kind cooperation. Your help has already meant a great deal to me. With best regards. Sincerely, William I. Homer Chairman
