Halpert Collection (Downtown Galleries) were sold at Parke-Bernet on March 14, 1973, You will note that 3 of said paintings at one time belonged to Carl Sprinchorn. I own an oil on board (Still Life) by Hartley formerly owned by Miss Ettie Stettheimer on the reverse side there is noted 'An American Place' 509 Madison Avenue, Room 1700; also an oil on canvas 'Pitcher with Calla Lillies' 1929? — 37-1/8'x25-3/4', which was formerly owned by Miss Stettheimer and exhibited in the Feininger-Hartley Exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in 1944; and 4 lithographs by Hartley.
