December 4, 1973 Mrs. F. S. Straus Chestnut Ridge Road Mt. Kisco, New York 10349 Dear Mrs. Straus I was delighted to hear from you and to learn that you enjoyed the pictures. My photographer has been ill, but she seems to be getting better now and she will print the negatives in fairly short order. Since I am having one set of prints made for myself it is no problem in having a second set done in the process. Please accept these as if gift to you and do not think about paying me for them. I appreciate your comments on your father's portrait. The personal touch which you gave in your remarks was very much appreciated. I hope your moving process is not too taxing and that you will enjoy your new house. I also hope that after you are settled you will let me know and perhaps I could visit you again to take a more leisurely look at the notebooks and scrapbooks, including the few materials which I did not have time to see on my last visit. My work it going along very nicely, and I am grateful to you for the information that you gave me. With best regards, Sincerely, William I. Homer Chairmen
