July 22, 1974 Mrs. Elizabeth Rhoades Reynolds Sharon, Connecticut 06069 Dear Mrs. Reynolds: You may remember that we corresponded last year about this time as a result of nry interest in Katharine Rhoades' paintings and her relationship to Alfred Stieglitz and his circle. I was very pleased to learn that you had aoxm paintings by her and some other items relating to the history of the Stieglitz group. I am still interested in this and plan to Include some mention of her in ray book on the Artists of the Stieglitz circle, concentrating on the years of '291.' I wonder if you expect to be around during the middle of August. There is soo^ possibility that I may be in Connecti- cut, and if I am, I would like to pay a visit to you and see what you have, if that is agreeable with you. In your letter to me of July 28, 1973, you said you would be glad to show me what you had. I hope you will have time to drop me a line and tell me what your plans will be. Many thanks. With best regards. Sincerely, William I. Uoiter Chairman WIH:sr
