October 12, 1973 Mr. Daniel Catton Rich 10 West 66th Street Apartment 21 C New York, New York 10023 Dear Mr. Rich: Thank you very much for your letter of October 4. I have read the manuscript with great interest, and am enclosing it as you requested. I was curious to know where you had obtained your information about Eddy. Also, do you happen to know the periodical The Black Mirror, published in Chicago in 1912 and earlier? The Black Mirror lists no editor and is otherwise anonymous. I thought Arthur Davies might have had something to do with it. On the other hand, perhaps Eddy could have been involved with it. If you know anything about this, I would appreciate having your thoughts. Once again, many thanks for your help. With best regards. Sincerely, William I. Homer Chairman WIH:bat Enc.
