WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART 4/18/96 Professor Homer, I think that Lloyd answers all your questions in his Reminisces from Archives of American Art Journal. Unfortunately, the loose copy is in outside storage and the bound copy was so tight the inside spine is a bit ghosty. I could not substantiate the Curry statement - placed a call into Avis Berman and if she replies, I'll let you know. I included this wonderful speech he gave on Kenneth Hayes Miller and thought you may gleem some insight. I might stand to be corrected his father owned a Winslow Homer painting not an Eakins, but you could probably call up David Goodrich if need be for fact checking Good luck, Anita
