July 7, 1978 Ms. Helen Gee 263 West 11th Street New York, NY 10014 Dear Helen: Thank you for your kind letter of June 26. I am in Delaware and will not be away except for three or four days at a time late in July and again late in August. In fact, I am hoping to come in to New York on Tuesday. July 13. If I can get together with you on that day I will give you a call. I will be glad to order the exhibition photographs for you. It may take some time, but the work will be done and it will be done well. As I told you, the charges are approximately $3.00 per 8 x 10 glossy print. If you want Matte, not glossy, please call me right away. I am glad to hear you are back in the art business. I don't know of any paintings that need to be sold, but you might tell me, something of what you are looking for, your specialization, etc. As to the Stieglitz portrait of Strand, could you drop me a note or give me a call concerning what a reasonable price for it might be. I don't know whether I would be interested, but the price would certainly be a factor. I appreciate any leads of this kind that you can give me. I am still actively collecting in the Photo-Secession area, though I am slowing down a bit, because I have a fairly well-rounded collection at this point. I am still looking for a nice Annie Brigman. I recently bought the exquisite nude girl against plants by Alice Boughton from your show, and I am indebted to you for bringing it to my attention by Including it. It is one of my favorite images, and when I saw it at Trenton decided I could not live without it. I do hope we can get together soon. With best regards. Sincerely, William I. Homer Chairman
