September 19, 1981 Dear Dr. Homer: I am preparing a book on the Societe Anonyme's Brooklyn Exhibition and am writing you to ask your help In tracking down some of the works shown. catalogue entry for In an Appendix I, am Including a full each of the more then 300 works show. I'm having trouble identifying and locating some of the American entries and wonder if you could help me. The works in question are noted on the enclosed sheet. Whenever possible, I have enclosed a xerox of the work as well. The titles and dimensions are those provided at the time of the exhibition and may not be exact. The Information I am seeking is very basic current title, date, dimensions, media and owner for each work. I don't expect you to have information on each of these works of art, but where you don't, could you suggest the name of someone else for me to contact?
